According to the TSA web site, scissors are okay so long as they are less than four inches to the pivot point, and, of course, the Mountain Man AIFAK has a pair which is under 4".
However, the site also says that the agent always has the final say, and I am about to travel with a Rifle Case and an IFAK which won't fit in there.
I understand the written rule, but -- has anyone had issues with Ankle IFAK scissors being disallowed by the agent? I can pre-pack just the scissors into the rifle case, but I'd rather have it where it could be useful.
Curious if there are any horror stories out there, or for that matter, success stories.
